It is the first anniversary of Alyssa S. Creative can you believe it!! One year ago around this time I finally decided to go for something I had dreamed and planned for a couple of months beforehand, starting my own photography business.
In October of 2022 I was working as a social media manager for a power sports company (still am lol) while simultaneously taking photos and videos. This let me get back into my passion for photography, but because I have not been heavily involved in the dirt bike world I felt that I wasn't able to be as creative with my photos as I knew I could be. But like with all things, even though I had this vision for myself I sat on it for a very long time. I was worried with the stress of being a full time student and having a full time job that it would simply be too much for me to add more work onto my plate. In January of 2023 I finally took the risk and started my business and boy has it been soooo worth it!! I originally started off as Alyssa S. Media and while I was learning, growing, and finding my niche in the photography world, I rebranded as Alyssa S, Creative in June of 2023.
This year has been such a rewarding process and I have been so lucky to meet so many amazing people and have such wonderful clients over the past year! I can't wait to see what this year has in store for me and with that, I thought it might be fun to list off my goals for ASC in 2024 as a way to look back on what I have accomplished next year and to strive for big things this year!
My goals for 2024 are:
- Use more flash photography!
- Book all of my creative styled shoots (go check them out here! They are a really great way to get some cool photos for 50% off.)
- Do four self shoots
- Take a posing class
