I am going to start off by saying that I feel like I've been living a secret life. And no probably not in the way you are thinking but just with photography. So some of y'all may know that I have been doing power sports photography for a long time now and that's how I got back into photography in the first place in 2022. But it is not something that I actively advertise that I do just because it is not necessarily my niche.
This weekend I had the please of shooting for General Tires Arenacross in Dallas. I have never shot for a racing series this big before but I had a blast! I came across this job from mutual friends I have in the industry and people I've been surrounded with from working for Orion Powersports and didn't really know what I had gotten myself into at first. I was quite overwhelmed at the scale of everything and the fast paced environment but I quickly settled in and was ready to shoot wherever I was needed. I shot mostly behind the scenes and had a great time! Bryan and Jay, the owners of the series were incredibly nice and offered a lot of insight and wisdom throughout the weekend that I really appreciated.
All of this to say... this is basically your once in a blue moon reminder that I shoot motocross and dirt bikes quite often and here are some really amazing pictures from this weekend!
